A solid night of sleep, two cups of coffee, an hour of coding HTML and an hour of poring over celebrity blogs (my personal favorite is Mollywood - she's bitchy and mean without being hateful, a rarity in the blogosphere) later, I'm feeling a little less shell-shocked. I was talking to my housemate last night about the first week of any semester, how we'll find ourselves holding our syllabi (syllabuses? syllabi? oh, who the fuck cares) and going, 'Oh hell, this again?' Don't get me wrong, I'm sure I'll miss it once I graduate, but really, asking me to miss something less than a week and a half after it ended is a bit excessive. I'm sure you all understand.

So I'm taking this class called "Crime, Media and Pop Culture" and for one of the assignments, I have to do a content analysis on some form of crime-related pop culture. I've decided that I'm going to do mine on COPS. I can't believe I'm going to get to earn college credit for watching a bunch of good ole boys bust a cap on the asses of toothless crackheads and drunken hillbillies. Life does not get much better than this.

Okay, enough bullshit. Back to work for me.
